thoughts on my life currently

Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on: you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of—throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were going to be made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.

thus it begins

maiden voyage into online selling.
i'm terrified.
i've photographed, tagged, and priced all my vintage goods.
if this goes well i'll be all set to sell my handmade goods too.
shipping is confusing.
wish me luck

sorry y'all

so the last two weeks i have been either:
been busy, been sick, been resting, been running errands, or been lame.

not the best way to start the new years or my resolutions:
1. be more creative with everything i attempt
2. finish what i start in a timely manner
3. be intentional about friendships
4. polish my photography skills
5. launch my own etsy shop

the one productive thing i've done is collect materials to start my own etsy line. there will be skirt, cardigans, and jewelry. i'm hoping everything will be ready for sale by feb. i really want to be successful in this because i'm determined to not give up on my talents. i started this blog as a way to market my etsy shop.  so be on the look out for the link in the coming weeks.
